Dear patients,

We recently learned that Alliant Dermatology has been unexpectedly and without prior warning removed from the Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO networks, effective September 1, 2025.

We live in a federally designated medically underserved area (HRSA ID 07097), where the priority should be expanding access to care, not restricting it by removing providers from insurance networks.

This decision impacts thousands of patients in our community and raises serious concerns about access to timely and high-quality dermatologic care in our region.
